However, upon checking into this hotel, the rooms were extremely old, the lighting was uncomfortable, giving the feeling of being in an operating room. The photos looked great, but the reality was vastly different, with worn-out sofas. Very disappointed. This hotel doesn't even come close to a 4-star standard, and staying here was very unpleasant. Eventually left a day early and switched to another hotel.”

“The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.”

“Perfect location close enough to everything where you can walk to. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave us recommendations for lunch and were always helpful. The rooms are clean as well as the property. We didn't get to dine for breakfast but did stop by the Burgundy Bar. My main complaint is the noise. Mostly every night I would hear the noise outside whether it be the trash trucks and it kept me up most nights out of our 5 night stay. Might have been our location next to the……
