The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.

The location of the property is ideal—steps from a coffee shop and dining and shopping options and a few blocks from tourist destinations. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and comfortable. The outdoor courtyard was a pleasant, relaxing alternative to the bustling streets. I would have liked more information on the parking options ahead of time, but it all worked out (we opted to keep our car at the sister property). Would undoubtedly stay at French Market Inn again.

Excellent service, Ms Deidre at the front desk was superb, very helpful. Parking across the street, felt as if my van was secure. Room was clean and housekeeping staff was very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely be staying again on my next visit.

We had an interior room and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet after being out in the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. We were close enough to walk pretty much anywhere we wanted to go and enjoyed all the dining options around the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location - close to the many areas within New Orleans and accessible to public transportation. It was clean, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We loved the courtyard for unwinding and the pool. We would definitely stay here again!

I did not use parking, but the location was amazing for anyone who doesn’t mind walking a few blocks to the Canal or st Charles st car. It’s Beignet adjacent (Cafe Du Monde is just a hop away), and it’s close enough to most transit that can get to all the attractions. The ac kept our room cool and comfy, but we were there in March so the heat wasn’t oppressive yet.
Mr Ed’s is right around the corner with excellent fare after a long travel.
Right in the heart of it.
Close to transit to attractions, like the Casino.
The cathedral is RIGHT THERE.

Easy access to anything in the French quarter, and walkable to many other neighborhoods. Despite being right there on the edge of the French quarter, it didn't feel hectic. My room was pleasant and comfortable and the staff was an absolutely delight.

This hotel is a great little gem right on Decatur st. The staff is top notch. The manager did such a great job at going above and beyond for the guests that were staying there; food and entertainment recommendations and more. If I return to New Orleans this will be my go to place.
