Perfect stay!
The property was perfect for our stay. Clean, spacious, stocked, and close to the marina to launch our boat. Will certainly bring our family back in the future! WiFi was a must for work availability and everything ran smoothly.

Great location
The cabin had beautiful views of the lake with a great location. The water pressure was awful and when two people showered, the water trickled out. The water left your skin feeling slimy. The beds were comfortable. The house had great amenities including the grill on back porch. The door locks were a little difficult to use. There was a note that we couldn’t have a fire so that was a downfall. Who stays in a cabin on the lake and no campfire?!? Also had a difficult time with booking. We have been booking vacations to this area for years and never had issues before like we did this year. Will not use Vacasa again.
I had looked at available properties at Norris Lake several times and hadn't seen this one. Then suddenly the day before we had hoped to leave this one showed up in my search. We booked it and had everything locked down within minutes.
6 of stayed for 3 nights and had an awesome time. There is plenty of space for hanging out or just relaxing. The property was very private and had a beautiful view off the deck. Exactly what we were looking for. A TV in the bedrooms would have been nice but other than that it was great. I would definitely recommend this cabin and will probably stay here again.
Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin.
It was beautiful. I would recommend arriving for the first time, in the daylight! The cabin is only about 7 miles off of Hwy 33 but it takes about 25 min. The roads are dark & curvy. Apple Maps followed the directions perfectly and we had no issues finding it or checking in.
Our biggest complaint would be about the poor communication with Vacasa, the property management company!
Issue #1 was with the booking.
We booked and paid the initial deposit with a card. (“they” apparently kept this card on file) We received several emails the week that the cabin balance was due, stating we had to pay the balance that day or else our rental would be canceled. So, I quickly paid the balance not knowing that my card on file would be automatically charged the next day.
I called Vacasa and they were clueless/helpless.
The emails were supposedly automatically generated and I had “agreed” for them to charge my card for the balance when I booked it.
I had to call our Discover card and stop one of the payments. Vacasa never helped resolve it.
When we arrived, we were surprised with all of the beautiful Christmas decorations.
I specifically emailed Vacasa before our trip and asked if our cabin would have a tree or any decorations! We lost my dad 2 years ago at Christmas and we were trying to have a Christmas somewhere other than home.
Our kids and grandson were coming to join us and we didn’t want it not “Christmasy”!
Vacasa replied a generic response about not decorating their rental cabins, and we could bring our own but we would be charged additional Christmas cleanup fee if any tree/decor was left behind. So, we loaded up 2 extra totes of Christmas decor & an artificial tree on an 8 hour road trip, up to the cabin!
This was our choice and I don’t regret it. I’d rather have too many decorations than none at all but imagine our surprise to a fully decorated cabin. The Vacasa team could have looked/asked the owner specifically about the decor for us.
The gas fireplace didn’t work.
The ignition switch was broken. This was a big bummer. Especially when we first got there. The cabin was a brisk 65! Brrrr. I reported this on day 1, and through email, and verbally over the phone. I was told that because it was gas, Vacasa maintenance wouldn’t touch it. They would have to send somebody out to fix it. We never heard about this again and it was still broken when we left.

Awesome View
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is gorgeous and the house was comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend!
Property was great with beautiful views. Had a lot of problems checking in. Took about an hour to get in the property as none of the codes given to me were working. Traveling for 12 hrs to get here and dealing with this issue was very stressful. Linda the property manager was readily available and she was very helpful to help us get in the property. Property could use better cleaning. Under the beds and couches was very dusty. Linda offered to have someone clean but we didn’t want to deal with having someone there cleaning while we were trying to relax. During our 9 day stay we had to deal with the main door without a working code to get in from the outside so we had to get in the property from an unlocked deck door. All the bedrooms were comfy and stocked with enough towels. Kitchen had everything you can think of for meal prepping. The hot tub was a great addition and very relaxing but we didn’t relax in it at night because it was just too dark on the deck. The living room and bedrooms could use brighter lighting. All in all this was a great secluded property with BEAUTIFUL views of the Norris Lake and trees where you could clear your mind and think from the hustle and bustle from our New York lifes.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin, it has a really nice and beautiful view but I have some suggestions, probably the owner could Updat it .
1 the living room needs some light on the ceiling
2 needs more towels, trash bags, Soap and shampoo, bedsheets
Thanks again

Nice cabin on the hill with a great view! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. There was plenty of room for our party of 7. We wished there were some walking trails directly from the cabin but we still were able to get out and wander the area. The management company was very responsive and easy to work with.

A very nice place. Clean and spacious. Had all the amenities. A great view. It was up the mountain. Do not advise arriving late in the rain and fog. It is 20 mins from the nearest store though. Take that into consideration. We wanted to fish from the community dock that was listed as easily accessible but we had to be accompanied by the property manager so we didn’t go
The cabin was amazing , everything was better that we expected, the view is stunning, very clean , a excellent place to relax and enjoy a family time . Very Recommend.
We loved everything about this place! The view was amazing, enjoying the beautiful weather on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub, and cuddling close with family by the fireplace...this is exactly what we need to unwind and enjoy time together.
The listing said there was a baby gate, and after searching for a day, we never found one. We contacted the property manager and a new gate was waiting for us by the front door of the cabin. Wonderful service.
The only minor downfall was the cleanliness. The cabin itself was clean, it was under the couches (found a cutie clementine under there that was not from us), under the beds were pieces of paper towels, and the rugs on the main floor were so dusty. They definitely need to be beaten or vacuumed.
Overall, you won’t regret staying here! It’s a fantastic getaway in a very secluded area. The drive is a little crazy, but very well worth it! We will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful stay at this home. The Lone Mountain area of Lake Norris is so beautiful. The house was perfect for us.

Nice, spacious cabin.
The cabin was lovely and very spacious for our family. The view was beautiful - it is very remote and a good drive into town. I would suggest you replace the towels. Many were worn and stained. Also, the air conditioning went up at night and many of us found it too warm to sleep comfortably.
