This was my 2nd time staying at the Equinox Hotel. The staff, the rooms, restaurant are all top notch stellar service and amenities. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure that my stay is perfect. I don't want to stay anywhere else whenever I visit NYC.

Staff is not trained to accommodate higher end clientele. The Infrared sauna benefit which is included for Expedia VIP Platinum members was repeatedly not honored at the spa and created stress which is counter productive in a wellness experience. Most spas include sauna in admission. The promotion is misleading as well as it says treatment included which implies service such as massage or facial

The staff attitude particularly at the spa marred the experience. Services included for VIP access in Expedia were not honored without significant back and forth which defeats the purpose of a wellness visit. The included service advertised as a treatment turns out to be sauna and even that is not included per reservation as advertised. Dining options are extremely limited on premise and menu choices are few at best
