Location and space were great, as described. Easy check-in/check-out and communication with host was timely. We'd definitely stay here again. But bring your own coffee cups if coffee at home is in your plans, the paper cups given to us were very small and not for hot liquids.

Great place in a great spot

The rental was spotless and provided all the comforts I needed for my stay. Its location is ideal, within walking distance to numerous attractions, shopping spots, restaurants, and bars. And the owner was courteous and promptly addressed any questions I had. Highly recommended.

Very nice place, perfect location!

The apartment is really well located, clean, chic and surprisingly large! We needed help as the code wasn't working on arrival and a very friendly girl came over instantly! The building had a water problem on the first day (not the host's fault), we received bottles at no charge. Great service, thanks!

Christmas in New York

We had a great time showing off America’s most exciting city to our German exchange student. Seeing the city sparkling in his eyes was truly a gift. We loved the NewYork feel of the space and were within walking distance of several of his bucket list items: Rockefeller Center with the tree and ice skating, Time Square and Central Park…shopping in Bryant Square…! Perfect!

Charming and Chilly

Our stay was totally perfect, aside from the fact that we had trouble regulating the heat, and then had no heat or hot water on our last evening. The staff was kind, understanding, and helpful, bringing extra blankets, but it was definitely chilly in this charming apartment. Good thing I was with my happy-go-lucky sisters!

Convenient and spacious

PROS: Great location - 5 min walk from Grand Central Station subway access and 6 min walk to Broadway, 5th Ave & time square. Check- in was easy (we were allowed an early check-in at 11:00am). Code to get into building for added security. Apartment door itself had code as well - wish deadbolt would have worked on door, but no real security concerns. Surrounding tenants were quiet. Comfortable main bed. Nice mini fridge in kitchen. Functional and clean bathroom. Good temperature/heat for Feb trip.CONS: I was a little disappointed with the "sleeps 5" description. We were traveling as a family of 5 (2 parents/3 teenagers) and neither of the two couches that folded down into futons were big enough to accommodate two people reasonably. Therefore, we had to have our third teenager sleep on the extra couch that did not fold down. Bedding was my main complaint. There was one flat sheet and one thin blanket for each futon/couch. Would have liked two sheets so we could put one down on the futon/couch surface and have one to cover with, followed by blanket; bedding all seemed a little ragged looking. Nothing screamed "I'm dirty", but yet I think it could all use an upgrade to give a better overall feeling of cleanliness. Pillows - only a flimsy case exposing worn/discolored pillows - please invest in pillow protectors! Consider providing paper towel or coffee in kitchen and more than two towels for a family of 5!Overall, despite critiques, I would recommend this stay.

Exactly as pictured and described in listing! This apartment was lovely!! It was so conveniently located near the things we had planned! My 5th trip to NY and the first trip I didn't have 15,000 steps walking each day AND we had minimal subway use. The building was safe with locked front door access and staffed with a front desk attendant. There was free on-site luggage storage for before and after check-in if needed, which was also a huge benefit to us. The check-in/check-out process was easy and we didn’t get 100 emails/contracts leading up the trip. This is going in my "saved" folder and I will absolutely plan future trips around the availability of another room in this building!!

We loved this historic building! The design details were gorgeous! We loved how close we were to 5th Avenue, the theatres and Times Square. The only negatives was the bathtub should have had a slip resistant pad as it was slippery when we showered. And the paper towel roll was almost out. But it was really an excellent place to stay and would highly recommend!

Location can’t be beat! A 10-minute walk to (our group had two seniors) Times Square, great restaurants and coffee shops, a leisurely 20 minute stroll to Central Park and the surrounding sights i.e., the Plaza Hotel, Rockefeller Center, Frick House, MoMA etc. We took a cab to Gershwin theatre but that could be walked to as well.The loft offered plenty of space for 4 adults, the electronic blinds were a lifesaver as this city never sleeps .

Super cute loft, comfy bed, and amazing location. The sofa beds/futons for our kids weren’t the most comfortable, but teens can sleep anywhere. Bryant Park subway station is close and makes it easy to get wherever you want to go.
