A small cozy boutique hotel that ticks all the boxes of convenience, comfort and cleanliness. Although the room was small but it was very comfortable. I was surprised to find it so quiet at night even though we were right in the middle of Times Square! Both my son and I slept very well in the 5 nights we were there. The breakfast was also delicious and the restaurant is really gorgeous. The only negative thing I could think of is the so-called front desk. The staff is constantly on their phone and does not even acknowledge me when i greet them every morning. Otherwise the hotel is perfect in every sense. Hopefully management can improve the attitude of the front desk staff.

It's small (welcome to NYC!), but very well done. All staff members we encountered were so friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. Some items could use a refresh but the rooms were well-appointed. There is a fun bar right next door, but the only caveat is due to its popularity, if your room is facing the street, it is loud - not traffic noise but loud people outside. Again, that's NYC. Overall, great location, great hotel and I would definitely stay there again!

Je souhaite vous signaler que la chambre que nous avons reçue ne correspond pas à nos attentes. Elle est très petite, clairement pas adaptée pour trois personnes. De plus, le canapé-lit n’était pas préparé : il n’y avait ni draps, ni couverture, ni oreiller. J’ai demandé une couverture et on m’en a apporté une, mais toujours pas de draps et pas d’oreiller. Le canapé-lit est également très inconfortable et très fort ce qui le rend impossible pour dormir. Simply a quaint and cozy boutique hotel with European atmoshere. The Merrion Row Hotel and Public House was everything we had hoped for, and more. We were so thankful that we had cancelled a previous reservation at a larger, business/chain hotel and realize how special "coming home" to this hotel contributed to our entire trip. Every aspect of our stay felt like we were with family. We enjoyed and appreciated the hospitality of our hosts and the distinct and delicious entrees for breakfast and dinner. Rooms were clean, stylish and simple with everything we needed. We even had a front room, facing W.45th Street and never minded the sounds of NYC around us. We will continue to recommend the Merrion Row Hotel to everyone going to New York and look forward to our next visit.

The staff were probably our favorite part. And yes, the room was super clean, and over all quite comfortable. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the "vouchers?" I had no idea that we would be charged for the vouchers that we were given for the room to use in your restaurant? I didn't ask for them (3), and they were literally referred to as "complimentary?" So when I received a bill for them, I was actually upset. If we weren't late for a plane there would have been an in depth conversation about it. So other than that, I would absolutely stay again and even recommend it to others.

Our room was at the rear of the hotel and very quiet although it was very close to Times Square etc. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed for a 2 night stay. A good choice of options were on the menu for both breakfast and dinner and the food was very good. All the staff were courteous and polite. We would have no problem recommending this hotel. The Irish bar next door was pretty good too!!

Location amazing - walkable to Times Square, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central. A very “ personal” hotel where the staff knows you by name and will stop to chat or offer a taste of irish whiskey, assist w baggage/advice/directions. Shona, the Manager is lovely and attentive . Sebastian at the bar and restaurant is kind and knowledgable . Rooms are tiny, with no in- room coffee, fridge, and teeny closet/hanging space, but everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable . We felt safe and taken care of . With just under 30 rooms here, you will feel like family . The hotel staff is amazing . Irish gem, indeed .

My room was very clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious given the size of the Deluxe Queen. If you’re claustrophobic or prefer a bit more room to move around, I recommend upgrading to the Deluxe King. The extra 4 to 5 sqm makes a noticeable difference. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel’s central location is a major plus, with easy access to Broadway theaters, shopping, and many of NYC’s main attractions. A charming boutique option in the heart of Midtown.

The room was spacious and very clean and the beds, for being Murphy beds, were super comfy! Loved the toiletries! The food was great and service in the bar and restaurant was perfect. I can't wait to come back to NYC to stay here again - perfect location for Broadway shows and shopping!
