The hotel is not cheap, the facilities are old, please note that they charge guests hidden fees, but only provide one cup of coffee, the room is not soundproof at all, it is very noisy, and the surrounding environment is not safe.

very samll room, can barely open the luggage environment not really as clean as expected. it is just a small room with bed and bathroom without any hotel / boutique hotel experiences

Super comfortable and easy one night stay for a solo traveler. Competitively priced for hotels in the area, it has a desk attendant at all (reasonable) hours, tenants weren’t too loud, street noise was a fine level even on a weekend night, bed was comfy, heat and AC both worked well, and the shower was nice and hot. They also had an iron and ironing board and clothes hangers in the room and rooftop patio with nice views. It was the tiniest hotel room I had ever seen in my life, and there weren’t many frills (no fridge, only a communal microwave downstairs, no bedside table or space for one, no chair or desk, just the bed to sit on, communal coffee in the lobby but not the room, pretty terrifying looking “lounge” on the second floor with a busted window and a few lights out). Alas, I didn’t need those things so I had a great time.

Zero hot water our whole stay and awful pressure. Some of the staff were rude. Fire alarms going off at 7 am. And multiple bugs in the room. Do not stay here.

Tiny, dingy room, probably the most cramped hotel room I've ever stayed in. Furniture is worn, bed creaks with old springs. Need a CPAP machine or something else plugged in near the bed? Forget it, no accessible plugs and no night table.

Clean, convenient and exactly what we were hoping for. The roof deck provided a beautiful view and a great place to sip our coffee in the morning. Only reason for 4/5 stars was the weak water pressure & temperature in the building. Otherwise a wonderful week spent here.

The location is unbeatable, there are so many great food spots and shops within walking distance. The area was really lively and packed with people on the weekend, if you’re into nightlife this is the spot for you. Definitely a younger crowd. I felt really safe walking in the area both in the day and at night. We were on the 5th floor and were able to hear noise from the streets (mostly cars honking at eachother) and the rooms are pretty tiny, but this is NYC so you can’t really complain about that too much. Bathroom inside the room was a plus. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
