I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and spaciousness of my room (10). Staff were friendly and professional; the assistant at breakfast was first rate in supporting a substantial number of guests. And the Craster kippers were excellent. The one thing missing at breakfast was a bowl of fresh fruit. Dinner was well prepared and presented. All in all a very good experience at the Duke of W.

Very helpful, friendly staff who greeted us when we dropped off our bags, before normal check in time as we were going to a wedding and returning very late. All went very smoothly and a goid breakfast freshly served the next day rounded things off nicely

We stopped here whilst visiting family a short walk away over Christmas, the Inn is really nice with lovely decor and well appointed and decorated rooms. The staff were all courteous and friendly, despite having to prepare for their Christmas Day meals etc. The breakfast was excellent.

Fabulous find !

Wonderful find. Comfortable, friendly and the food was absolutely fabulous. Situated in the countryside with terrific views but extremely accessible and close to the places we were going. Staff were all happy and well motivated and this rubbed off on the whole feel of the place. Somewhere perfect to stay or eat when in the area. Definitely stay there again.
