Walked to nearby villages and caught the train from Southease station to get further afield. Staff were really helpful and we enjoyed eating at the cafe during our hassle-free visit. "

"Wingrove House is a welcoming small hotel in the heart of the historic village of Alfriston, just off the South Downs Way. It has been sympathetically restored to make it a comfortable, modern hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spotless. There is a comfortable lounge and I enjoyed sitting there with a book in the evening. Breakfast was also delicious and the restaurante service was great."

"This was a lovely, comfortable room with a soft, cosy bed and a spacious bathroom. There was a huge selection of tea and coffee sachets with the kettle, and the chocolate and biscuits were very tasty. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the staff were excellent, accommodating my dietary requirements. I would love to stay here again, and will certainly be recommending the Tiger Inn to friends and family."
