This was a great stay for us. When we arrived, we ran into Jed (the caretaker) right away and he led us to where we needed to park for our studio apartment. It was located in a campground that had great amenities like different levels of cabins (rustic without water or electricity or fully loaded with kitchen, bathroom, one or two bedrooms, living room, etc. ), hiking trails, playgrounds, fire pits and pavilions with grills. We stayed in Studio 3 which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amount of storage space/closets in this small studio was impressive and we could have easily stayed for a week instead of just a weekend. The area is beautiful, mountainous and recovered from Hurricane Helene last year, but it’s easy to get lost on the narrow roads at night as GPS is not always accurate in the area.

Peaceful getaway

I was looking for a place to stay and last minute this was my choice and the best choice possible. The whole process was simple and the owners communication was good. If you are looking for a place to get away from the stress of everyday life and slow down this is it. You have the option of taking your food or going into town to get something. Well worth it.

The studio was perfect

The studio was perfect size for the two of us and our two dogs. The property owners were friendly and very responsive. I like that there was a table outside the room to eat meals. Just a note that it would be helpful if the each of the 4 tables had there own rockers. We would stay again.

A little piece of heaven

A little piece of heaven We sure enjoyed our stay at Plum tree. Beautiful surroundings and facility as well as our studio. The hosts was gracious and helpful. This is an area with a lot of history. No question we will be back. Thanks Jed and Jen for providing this little piece of heaven for your guests. PS we sure appreciate that you were pet friendly. Our dogs loved it!
