Awesome house.

Really enjoyed my stay. We were right next to tye Beach and grocery stores. We were able to cook there and back yard was great. We grilled. Spacious for everyone. Great place to stay

Cozy place to stay and enjoy the Oregon Beach and Newport

The beds were wonderful and the house is close to everything! Our 3 generational family enjoyed a wonderful vacation stay in Nye Beach Bungalow. A bathroom on each floor, one bedroom for the older ones of us not needing to climb the stairs, and 2 large bedrooms upstairs made this home very convenient. It is clean and comfortable. We will definitely book this home again.

Nye Beach House

The house is well-stocked with spices, laundry detergent, cooking supplies, etc. It comfortably accommodated a family of 6 having the right amount of furniture and beds, but not making it too crowded. Nice backyard with a BBQ also.

Newport House Near Nye Beach

This house fit all our needs for a quiet relaxing stay in Newport. The house is great for a family and my husband and I will definitely return with our extended family. Having a full bath and extra bedroom on the main floor is ideal for anyone who may have difficulty going upstairs. The extra twin beds and small outdoor space make it idea for a family. The location is great and you can walk down to Historic Nye Beach in about 10 minutes or less. Lots of restaurants and activities in the vicinity. During low tide you can walk the 2 miles from Nye Beach to Agate Beach along the sand. Looking forward to returning again in the future.

Your home away from home!

We have stayed here many times because it feels like home. From the furniture, kitchen & the fact that there's room for the whole family--even a fenced yard for the dog. There are puzzles, books & kids videos. The artwork is lovely. The owner keeps things updated, as with the nice new flooring. Make your own special memories in this wonderful home!

Great location and great little house

This house was great! Close to the beach which was perfect and had a completely enclosed back yard for the dog. The beds are hard to sleep in - upstairs are WAY too soft and you can't move around and downstairs is super hard. But if you know that in advance you can plan for who sleeps where! The added bonus is the apple and pear trees. We were there the perfect time and the fruit was great to pick and eat!

Great place

This house worked well for us and was well supplied with dishes and cooking supplies to eat in which we didn’t do much as you can walk to several good restaurants. The fenced in yard was great for the dog. It listed a fire pit in the yard, which was not there. One of the windows in the master upstairs had no coverings and the room was very bright for sleeping. The bed upstairs was also a bit saggy. Downstairs was very comfortable. Nice place for a family visit.

Good place.

Super clean, 3 bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Master bedroom with bathroom, and another bedroom upstairs. The 3rd bedroom is downstairs and so is the 2nd bathroom. If they’ve fixed the jammed rear sliding door, and the rattling HVAC filter directly above the master bed this place is about as perfect as it gets.

Good experience

The code did not work for the door until I called Vacasa. No big deal since they picked up real quick & reset it for me. It was clean & had many beds, but had a smell. We just bought scented candles seemed to do the trick. Only downside was hot water did not last. Had to wait 15-20 min for someone else to be able to shower. Layout of home was convenient for a small family. Felt very cozy.

Loved that it was close to everything and the neighborhood was quiet. Wasn’t horrible but Probably wouldn’t rent that property again honestly. wasn’t that clean, spiders and webs everywhere, dirty carpets this place could use a really good deep clean and carpet shampoo!

6 year old also repeatedly asks "am I in heaven?" As far as the Oregon Coast in December goes, this comes pretty close. :)

Most everything about this property was great to exceptions were that we could never get the lockbox on the outside to work with the code provided in number two we bought dinner for our family of six, but the oven wasn’t working spending money on food that we couldn’t bake was quite frustrating.

We rented this house because we got married in Newport on February 2nd. The place was lovely. Only having two cars for seven people was tough. We needed room for three cars but the place we rented for the wedding let us keep an extra vehicle there. It was a lovely rental and I have it saved in case we need something like that again one day!

A cute cabin-like home centrally located in downtown Newport. Well stocked with everything you would need for a weekend getaway. Anything you forget can be found at the Fred Meyer store less than a mile away. Close to the beach, but the walk is hilly so can be difficult for folks with mobility issues. There is no AC but lots of fans and the open windows created a nice cross breeze. The backyard is fenced but a section has fallen down and the dog to escaped to the roof of the neighbors shed. That was interesting! Also, our WiFi stopped working after two days. We tried all the rebooting methods but could never get it back. Luckily the Newport Library is close by so our student could upload their assignments. Thanks for sharing your home!

renter beware

When we arrived with the code to open the door there was no key in the key box . It took several hours to get a key to get into the house ,when we got into the house it was dirty, smelled of mold and of a dirty diaper pail .Cupboards were broken and we found many spiders. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Basic price, basic house

We picked this unit as the most affordable we could find that still had plenty of space. We got what we paid for: adequate accommodations with a few drawbacks. Bedrooms are large with plenty of sleeping options, and the kitchen is large and fully functional. The fenced backyard was great for our dog. Furnishings, fixtures, and bathrooms are utilitarian but adequate. Upstairs windows give glimpses of the ocean, and you can hear the surf. The Nye Beach gallery and restaurant district and beach access are a short walk away, and the house is otherwise right in the middle of Newport. However, the neighborhood and the block the house is on are nothing special. One of our kids forgot to relock the car after getting something out in the evening and someone rummaged through the car overnight. Overall, I would recommend this to a group on a budget, but I don't think we'll be repeat guests.
