Amazing stay!

The tree cabin is the cutest little spot for a couple! Hot tub was 10/10, the entire place is super cute and lots of special touches. We were there on a super windy and snowy night so the trees do bang into the house (it’s built into them), so if you’re a light sleeper definitely bring a sound machine or earplugs just in case. If it’s not windy it’s not a problem! Great place though. Would stay again.

Treehouse Sanctuary in the Northeast Kingdom

Andrew and Marilou’s treehouse offered the perfect respite for relaxation and connection. Not only were the details of the house a masterpiece of creativity (a sink emerging from a treestump, steps to the loft built into the tree, a hidden bird’s nest), but their hospitality was so thoughtful. We arrived to a fridge stocked with morning waffle ingredients, coffee, maple candies on the coffee table, and a guest book filled with others’ happy memories. There is an adorable hot tub, a comfortable bed, and all of the comforts needed for a quiet getaway. Quiet as it was, the treehouse is also convenient for enjoying the Northeast Kingdom. Jay Peak, downtown Newport, and the Canadian border are all within an easy drive. Thank you, Andrew and Marilou. We will most definitely stay again!

Every detail of the treehouse is beautiful. It is so secluded and peaceful nestled high in the trees, it was like having our own private retreat in the woods. Whether sipping coffee on the balcony or soaking in the hot tub, it always felt calm and stressfree. Andrew and Marylou met us upon arrival, and were very inviting, welcoming, and reached out during our stay to make sure all was well. We brought our kayaks and had the pond to ourselves, paddling around and seeing lots of turtles, birds and even a cute beaver. The ingredients provided for the delicious homemade waffles was an added bonus that we enjoyed every morning. If your looking for an escape thats beautiful and peaceful, this is the place. We hated to leave and would return in a heartbeat.
