This was perfect for our stay. It is close to shops and restaurants, and a quick drive to the local grocery stores. It had everything we needed and was located in a quiet area. Although it rained for most of our stay, we did enjoy the view from the balcony. My only suggestion would be to replace the iron, as it seemed quite old and didn’t work well, so I wasn’t able to iron any clothes during my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely return again!

Everything you need

This unit had everything we needed for a weekend stay and is close to so many shops and stores. The view was great and the weather cooperated for us! We'd love to come back!

Embarcadero on the Water

We enjoyed the pretty view and able to hear the seagulls and sea lions each evening and each morning. We look forward to coming back. The cleanliness could be better but over was a great time .

We had a fantastic time. Beautiful spot. LOVED the balcony. Only complaint was the beds weren’t very comfortable and the hot tub was tiny and one of them was out of order. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend

Great place to unwind

I have been staying at the Embarcadero for close to 40 years when I visit Newport. The views of the bridge from each room cannot be beat. This unit was well-appointed and clean. We enjoyed bringing in the new Year in this quiet location with gorgeous views

Perfect!

This was the perfect place! A short walk to some shops, restaurants, and bars. Lots of things to check out. Amazing view of the bay with the bridge in the background. For two adults, it's the perfect size. But you definitely can make it work with four adults.

Amazing Place!

The location CANNOT be beat! I love all the activity on the bay. Super fun! We had lovely weather and some great walks. The unit was unbelievably clean. I'm a germaphobe and was very happy with the condition of the space. The only drawback is that this is a lower unit and we had some heavy-footed people above us for a couple of days. Otherwise, just an amazing stay!

Wonderful location

This was a wonderful location and very relaxing. Veiws are stunning. Overall stay was great, just some little things that need to be updated. The pans in the kitchen are way beyond needing to be replaced. The fan in the bathroom should be separated from the heat lamp. Not all outlets work properly and tge beds are very hard.

Unobstructed View

The view was incredible and the house was very comfortable. Only issue was not being able to speak with someone. All communication was done through text and/or email. We had an issue and it would have been great to be able to explain it to someone. Also thought it was too early to have a check out time of 10:00 am. Most places are 11 am.

Everything we Hoped

We took this trip to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We chose this room because we decided to bring my mom and youngest daughter and this room could accommodate the four of us. We were thrilled to find that the room was exactly what we saw in the photos. We couldn't find sheets for the murphy bed, just blankets-- but it was still comfortable. We loved access to the private dock for crabbing and had a great time visiting with other travelers as we sat around the boiling pots waiting to prepare our catch of the day. There was a sailboat that parked right outside our deck and we wondered if that was the actual owner of the condo, keeping an eye on us. lol Whoever they were, they seemed harmless enough, and perhaps just a part of life on the water. All in all, we had a great time and definitely plan to return!

Great location and view

This property was wonderful. It was very peaceful and quiet. The unit was clean and had plenty of linens for everyone. It was great having the kitchen area to make breakfast and ease into the day. It is within walking distance of the main road of little shops and eating places. The view from the balcony was amazing. You can sit and watch the boats coming and going and wind surfers. When I made reservations I was looking for a place to go with my disabled mother. She struggles going up/down stairs. When reading the description of the unit I did not see anything about stairs. This unit does require a set of stairs to be taken. We called to try to get moved to a different unit but were not successful. Thank goodness my mother was able to put in the effort to tackle the stairs. We had a great time.

Embarcadero

The property itself was nice and we loved the location. However, the unit wasn’t clean (floors gritty, dirty dishes in washer, mug in cabinet full of bacon grease). It was very noisy all day because of the landscaping during the day and the unit above blasting music from night into the morning. We were told to advise the landscaper to stop what he was doing while we were staying in the unit due to our infant needing to sleep. We didn’t think that she be our responsibility to tell them not to do their job. Some advanced notice of the noises would have been appreciated due to the fact it was hard for our baby to sleep all day which ruined our trip. We also had to pay a cleaning fee for a unit that wasn’t clean.
