Take a lesson on Fistral Beach or sit back and soak up the beachside buzz while watching the pros ride the waves. In town, you’ll find a tempting mix of eateries, from casual fish and chips to fine dining. For serious foodies, a trip to Padstow (15 miles) is a must, home to some of Cornwall’s top restaurants. For shopping and culture, head to Truro (10 miles) to browse independent shops or catch a show at the Hall for Cornwall. Local gems include the National Trust’s Trerice, a mile away, and the world-famous Eden Project, 19 miles from home.
