Wonderful cottage, only marked it down as the parking wasn't great.
Wonderful cottage, only marked it down as the parking wasn't great. Got there in the dark (no lighting) ended up damaging my car due to large unseen boulders.

We are always made to feel so welcome. Nothing is too much and Pam and Alison are the perfect hosts. We've been for a few years now and the surroundings are so peaceful. Just what we needed to recharge the batteries.

Beautiful location A property very nicely furnished in cottage style which made us feel at home straight away.
Even in awful weather we were very happy in the cottage as it's light and airy with lovely views so one doesn't feel frustrated to not get out and walk in the lovely grounds.
Very relaxing place and very kind and welcoming owner who baked us a delicious cake.
Highly recommended

Lovely place to stay.
Lovely place to stay. Totally isolated. No local pub, shop.
The pub 21/2 miles away has closed down so the nearest is approximately 6miles.
No phone signal or phone to use in an emergency. No local walks from the cottage so always need to drive.

Amazing holiday in this perfect little cottage.
Amazing holiday in this perfect little cottage.
Ideal if you have a dog, enclosed front garden.
Everything you could possibly want in the cottage.
Perfect surrounding area for walking your dog off the lead. Beautiful river side walks. Lots of national trust places.
My only gripe (and it's a small gripe, one which we overcame very easily) is that the shower is temperamental. So we needed to bath every day and wash our hair in the sink. Which is not a hardship and it wouldn't stop us staying in this cottage again. (Which we plan to do).
