Ended up at different property than the one booked

We were told that the apartment we originally booked had a flooding issue and is unavailable, so were given a different one in the same Old Town location. Location was great. The property - not so much. As soon as you open the door, the smell of mildew and urine hits your nose. There was no shampoo/conditioner. The apartment "living room" was tiny, and if you were to put up the clothes hanger to dry your laundry - you either could not stay in the living room, or could not get through the kitchen area. There was only a sheet on the bed, not a blanket, and there were no extra sheets available (that I really wanted to put on the two seat "couch"). There was sand on the bed as well. Wifi also did not work, the password provided was incorrect.

Excellent location close to bars, restaurants and the beach. The entrance to the apartment is scruffy but don’t be put off by that as the property is spacious and very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, lovely shower and comfortable huge bed.
