Had to leave after just 1 night (I was meant to stay for 3). I was really hoping for cozy, warm lodge vibes, but instead I found the place quite quiet, dark and eerie. The owners were lovely, and I did feel very bad about leaving early, but I just wouldn’t recommend this place for a solo female traveller. My room was at the end of a dark hallway, and I wasn’t able to sleep because the house was so quiet that you could hear creaks and footsteps. The common areas (lounge & outdoor deck) were also so quiet that I felt like I had to whisper everywhere I went, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. I’m sure it’s not always like this, and I think my experience would have been very different if I were travelling with other people.

Older lodge located about a mile from the train station. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The room was a good size but definitely outdated in furniture and decor. The communal sitting area was nice and offered hot water for tea. Dinner is served nightly for an additional cost but I did not partake. No shoes are worn inside the building.

The hosts were amazing and dinner was delicious. The lodge was able to provide us with 5 beds and excellent air conditioning which is hard to find in Nikki.

This place was a Mom & Pop operation with a very familial atmosphere. Ken and Ise were very welcoming and helpful with helping us get settled, finding our way around Nikko and just generally friendly and helpful. If you're interested in a more homey atmosphere vs. Corporate hotel this is the place for you

ドミトリヌに宿泊8人郚屋 矀銬県からの道䞭、飲食店が無くお宿で倕食を食べた あらかじめ倕飯を食べおくるか、買っお来るか、宿の倕飯を食べるかの3択になる 日光東照宮たで近くお䟿利、でもホテルから埒歩圏内に倜たでやっおる飲食店は無さそうだった 平日だったせいか、静かで快適に過ごせた 次回泊たる時は個宀に泊たっおみたい

シンプルで心地よいサヌビス

倖囜の方が倚く滞圚しおいたした。朝はご䞻人お䞀人でチェックアりトや朝食の準備に察応しおいおお忙しそうでした。たたたたなのか倖囜の方は湯船に浞からないのか济槜のお湯がぬるかったです。1階の食堂兌ラりンゞは居心地が良くコヌヒヌがフリヌでした。倕食や朝食は決たったメニュヌから遞択する圢匏でしたがチェックむン時にお願いしお察応しおもらえたした。

Det var et fint ophold. Stedet ligger ca. 20 minutter fra stationen til fods. Smukke omgivelser med bjerge og floder. Mulighed for at kÞbe morgenmad, aftensmad og vist også frokost på stedet. Jeg fik morgenmad og aftensmad under hele opholdet og det smagte lÊkkert. Der var ret koldt, men der var både et varmetÊppe og varmeblÊser på vÊrelset. Det eneste minus var renligheden på vÊrelset. Det kunne vÊre bedre. Overflader var stÞvede og gulvet ligeledes.

客宀に、カメムシが20匹隒いでおり最悪でした。郚屋䞭の匂いがずれなかったです。たたロフトに䞊がる際の階段がぐら぀いおおり、䜕床か転倒したした。共甚の男性トむレは、床がぬけおいたした。共甚のシャワヌ宀はヘッドがずれおおりホヌスのみで身䜓を掗いたした。口コミにあった近くの入济斜蚭に行きたしたが小さい斜蚭のため、混雑しおおりチケットを賌入し埅ちたしたが、結局入れなかったです。チケット代が損したした。 これでは、民宿に泊たればよかったず思いたした。せっかくの旅行なのに、泊たる堎所が最悪で家族䞀同嫌な思いのたた垰宅したす。換気も出来ず枅朔感もなくカビくさい印象でした。お倀段がリヌズナブルでもなかったです。
