「Charming quaint rustic little cottage (2 bedroom, 1 bath), within a very short walking distance to town. It was perfect for our 4 night stay to explore the Booth Bay area and chill out for a few days after our sons’ wedding. Check in and check out were super easy. While we did not use the kitchen for any major cooking it seemed to be fully stocked and we did find anything that we needed. As stated in the description there is not a washer/dryer so just plan accordingly. I would definitely stay...

It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. Dmitri was super communicative and was kind enough to let us know we left a pair of shoes there after we departed. 「Nice cozy spot that made a great home base for us to explore the beautiful area. Lots to see from beaches to state parks. The view from Mt. Battie is amazing. Lot of places to get good food. The place has all that you would need and is very comfortable and well kept. 」

「We arrived when we told Dmitri we would and he met us at the door, showed us to our room, going up a most unique staircase, answered our question about where to go to find a restaurant for dinner. We appreciated the neighborhood we were in and the comfort of the bedroom, bathroom, and especially the mattress.」

「We had a wonderful weekend in Owls Head! The property was clean, spacious and quiet. I was visited by a hummingbird each morning as I drank my coffee. A way to brew a pot of coffee might be nice but not a big deal. The kitchen had everything our group of 4 needed. We brought all our beach stuff including towels and chairs which made our trip to Birch Point perfect. 」

「We had a wonderful stay at Martin’s home. It is the quintessential, cozy Maine cottage nestled into a sleepy cove with incredible views and water access. The home is equipped with everything one would need and came with homemade muffins and a welcome basket! We highly recommend and hope to return!」

「Perfect! Views from this property are overwhelming! We even have one that we took at 3:30 AM and you cannot describe it with words. Water was smooth as glass and the stars and two planets made it even more breathtaking.The cottage was a perfect maine cottage. It is well maintained, clean and up to date. It is within 5 minutes of Rockland and for us that was a plus. We have plans to book next year. If you are looking for a home away from home you will not be disappointed.」

「Nice house in a great location. It was wonderful to have a first floor bed and bath since we were traveling with my elderly parents. The location made it easy to walk or drive to Boothbay Harbor. The only minor issues we found were spotty wi-fi and the latch on the front screen door did not work properly. Would definitely stay here again!」

「Lovely location right on a quiet cove on Southport Island. House was well equipped and the grounds were shady. The kitchen especially was well equipped with plenty of pans, dishes, and a gas range with 4 eyes plus a griddle. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for relaxing both inside and outside. Highly recommend.」
