「Lodging was not cleaned prior to my arrival. Bed was unmade, garbage was full in bathroom and kitchen, used bath towels left in bathroom. Patio door deadbolt was stuck and did not lock and was therefore unsecured for duration of stay. No shampoo or body wash provided. It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area.」

「We loved the peaceful location. We never heard any noise at night (except for a neighbor outdoor gathering one night). The beds were firm but comfortable. We walked about 15 minutes to the west end of Bar Harbor to rent bicycles. Otherwise, we drove to other destinations. Cell service is poor or non-existent for our phones. Using the wi-fi was essential. TV service was not ideal but we don't watch much anyways. 」
