“Staff are generally nice and friendly, there is a bar downstairs which serves good food, many locals came for dinner so is quite vibrant if you would like to mingle with people from different counties. However the room does not include duvet which means you either have to rent one (1100 isk) or bring your own sleeping bag. You will have to bring your luggage upstairs too.”

“Good location, walkable distance to restaurants and city center. Limited parking could be a problem for late check ins. Door codes were convenient, easy check in and entry. Shared kitchen was fully equipped. Spacious room but there was a stain in the ceiling which could be potentially a leak upstairs, hopefully they will fix it. The shower was a bit small, the curtain wraps around you when it gets wet. Plastic shower curtain might be a better fit. Good stay in general, spacious room. Laundry……

“It was very comfortable and well equipped for 7 of us. It was a 5-10 minute walk into the town centre and a big shopping centre the other way. Lots of parking on the road and it was quiet. ”

“Convenient 12mins drive from Akureyri. Nice quiet location, private hot tub, fridge, oven and bbq grill. Comes with pots, pans and utensils. Do note that there’s no microwave. Enjoyed our stay there.”

“Es una habitación con cocina incluida, muy coqueta, limpia y tranquila, situada en una granja con caballos, a unos kilómetros de Akureyri. Los propietarios te dan absoluta libertad para visitar la granja. El entorno es espectacular. Hay que subir por dos tramos de una escalera metálica independiente. No hay ascensor. La cocina y su menaje muy limpia. También el aseo. Hay algunas moscas, pero es que es una granja y fuimos en verano. De los mejores alojamientos de los que estuve en Islandia. ”

“Full house 15 minutes from Akureyri. Full kitchen, 3 bedrooms sleeps our family of 5 comfortably. Beautiful view from outdoor patio with grill and hot tub. Great value and great spot from which to explore the North. ”

“This was a real treat and was like a mini vacation within our vacation. The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed.”
