great place

really enjoyed our stay at this home. Exceeded our expectations and was probably the nicest rental of this type we have ever been to.Hope to make it back another time of year when the generators are not flowing so we can do some wade fishing.

Great weekend away!

We had a very nice relaxing stay at Troutfest. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We loved being right on the river. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. It was a great long weekend!

Wonderful, private getaway

Quiet cabin, not far from great drives. Didn't catch anything good from the shore, will need to rent a boat next time. But, still enjoyed the access. The bluffs werw beautiful and the cabin as perfect as it could be. The lower area near the river could use a mowing and only 1 horseshoe was found. Perfect getaway place.

Beautiful place

House was very nice with large areas for kids to play and plenty of distance from neighbors. House was well equipped with lots of channels on TV and pool table to keep kids and adults entertained. Lots of outside sitting areas to enjoy great views of river. Only negative was we could not get icemaker to work on fridge but this was minor. Beds were comfortable and house had everything we needed. Fishing was poor during our stay but that happens. Would suggest that key location is a little better described as we searched quite a while to find it on arrival. Overall, this was one of my favorite locations so far on the white river and hopefully the poor fishing was just a fluke.

Perfect for our family

TroutFest was a perfect fit for our party of five to celebrate Thanksgiving AND to get in some fantastic fishing. Accommodations were extremely clean and well maintained. The property is located on the shore of the White River which is only steps away from the home. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a restful and entertaining getaway.

Fantastic Stay!

We had a great time at Trout Fest. House was set up perfect and we loved the layout. Spent every day in the enclosed patio and ended the evenings with games of pool. River conditions were not great for fishing during our stay so we are already planning on another trip in the fall!

Great location & incredible view

House is amazing. Sits right on the white river. You can fish right behind the house…you walk out when water is lower. Not far from Norfolk River for more fishing. Loved everything about this house! We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
