“We booked this spot last-minute during an unexpected overnight layover in Philly and were so glad we did. The location in Old City was perfect—super walkable and felt very safe, even walking to grab a late-night Philly cheesesteak after 11pm on a Saturday. It was a little chilly, but still such a fun way to experience the neighborhood.

“Great property, love this neighborhood. Walk or bike everywhere. Not far from ‘L’ train to Center City. Lots of nightlife nearby. My only issue was not being able to get local channels on the TV, but I didn’t ask the staff for assistance on this so it’s not their fault. Bar was very nice. I didn’t eat here but the restaurant looked fabulous & upscale. Highly recommend this hotel. ”

“Lovingly restored building with wonderful detailing yet with modern functioning utilities. A most pleasant experience. Drawbacks - a few external ones. The building is on an unattractive street next to a parking lot and a garage and inhabited by a few unhoused persons. Still the surrounding area beyond this one block is quite nice.
