“Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. ”

“Really neat, quiet place to stay. We really enjoyed our time on the deck in the hammock swings. The cabin was in close proximity to most everything we wanted to do. The owners responded promptly to every question we had. We had a storm roll through resulting in a lengthy power outage. They communicated with us throughout the outage, and they, without hesitation and of no fault of their own, refunded a nights stay. I was impressed. Thanks again! ”

“We had a great stay at Joshua’s Barndominium! The house was the perfect size for 2 families. The kids had a blast fishing off the dock, jumping on the water trampoline and playing wiffle ball in the yard! The beds were comfortable and we loved having all the indoor/outdoor seating options available! Definitely a place we would return to for a longer trip next time! ”

“I live in a technology driven environment 24-7-365, and I needed to be at this winery. We stayed at the Birch property and found it to be the perfect getaway from life’s constant distractions and daily annoyances. When you stay at this property, you are relieved of the stresses and pressures of everyday living, and presented with the chance to disconnect from the world and the opportunity to actually breathe. We didn’t do much during our 3-day stay, but that was the point. I wanted a relaxing……

The setting for the water garden to the outdoor fire pit and two open decks and hot tub to the tasteful furnishing fully equipped was a delight. Cooking, entertaining and for last minute items a short distance to nearest grocery. Highly recommend.”

“The lodge sat upon a beautiful mountain side where the rabbits romed freely. The long gravel road with twist and turns was an adventure for those in our party who never experince mountain side living but by the the time we left they were old pro's and were really enjoying their adventure. The decor made you feel relaxed and at home, with plenty of space for everyone. We all, all 23 of us enjoyed our visit & would love to roast marshmellows around the fire pit again as many enjoyed the hot tub at……

“Wonderful location! House was perfect for the size of our family! The home was well maintained, clean and had everything needed for cooking for a large group. Our family, particularly the young ones enjoyed the ping pong and foosball tables and cornhole. We would definitely rebook when back in the area. ”
