North Lake Tahoe B&B

February 1st, and snow is sparse in Tahoe. We parked at the Brockway Summit Parking, but crossed the road and headed up the mountain on Spur Trail. It was warm and quiet.

About a 2 mile hike up to the vista point, and the view was not disappointing! Gorgeous lake and the company of good friends.

"Check-in was fine. Outside temp was 86 degrees when we arrived. It was hot inside the unit. The listing stated a/c and washer & dryer. The only a/c was a portable a/c unit in the bedroom that was turned off. There was also a suspended power outlet hanging against the fireplace with the TV and Roku plugged into it (not shown in the photos). "This place is fantastic. It's directly in the village but there's a resort shuttle to get you there (10 minutes away). Plenty of food options on site, we mostly used the coffee/mini mart shop. But dinner was great at Sandy's. It has a walk to lift right there and a ski check for convenience. I doubt I'll stay anywhere else on our next trip back to Palisades."
