“This is the worst VRBO our family has ever stayed at. Host changed the duplex a couple of hours before our arrival. The new unit was uncleaned with some linens still wet in the washing machine. It had a room that had no light, old moldy food, cabinets without fronts, windows without coverings, a screen door ripped off, & beds that were very nasty and stained. Garbage wasn’t taken out from the last guest. They only provided 3 towels (that need to be washed) when we reserved for 6. Host absolutely……

“Worse stay ever. The code to the door was wrong. Couldn’t get a hold of the property manager. The first night stayed in a hotel room. The next night had cold showers, couldn’t get the heat turned on and still couldn’t get ahold of the manager. No microwave. I’m pretending the weekend just didn’t happen. ”

“Communication with the local host through the VRBO app was not an option. The property management company wouldn’t allow us to communicate with the local host inside the app. It had to be through communications outside the app to their personal cell phone. The home was not clean. There is a thick layer of dust on all ceiling fans and mantle in the living room. The basement bedroom mattress had a dirty sheet with bodily fluid stains. Additionally, the closet in the basement bedroom had animal……

“Actually I end up not staying a night of the scheduled 3 nights. I tried to get s refund but it seems the modus operande is to exhaust your patience and time so as to make you give up your claim. First, the host failed to provide any instruction as to check in, how to get the keys, and most important is that after 10PM, nobody’s there to attend to you! Arrive 12AM after a 4-hour drive and end up not able to check in. Contacted the number in the email which end up to be a call to Switzerland,……

“Such a wonderful, clean, roomy and relaxing place to stay! This place is well taken care of and the cleanliness was top notch! I highly recommend this cute place! It is convenient, with a driveway for parking. We enjoyed our entire stay and we will be back! ”
