Bahama Sands

Our family enjoyed our stay in this clean and smoke free facility. We enjoyed our accommodations being right on the beach. The pool, lazy river, and hot spa tubs were even lovelier. Thank you for such an amazing and relaxing experience.

Great Golf Getaway

Nice place, great location

The location is in a good location with a lot of restaurants and stores close by. The unit was very nice and clean. It’s an end unit, so each bedroom had an ocean view balcony. Furniture is a little dated but functional. Would definitely rent here again.

Perfect and stress free stay

This home is at the very end of the complex and has an amazing view from the living room area and from every single bedroom. The bedrooms have private balconies. It was easy to park, easy to get around the complex, easy. That is the word for this place—it is just easy. Away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach, this complex and North Myrtle are perfect for families. Good job, Vacasa.

Great view/clean property

Beautiful condo with a beautiful view! The pictures need to be updated to reflect the newer furniture (no longer red). Just a few cons. We did see 2 German cockroaches. It wasn't a crazy infestation or anything. And it very well may have come from another unit. When you share walls (like in an apartment) you tend to get a few critters from time to time. The shower in the king size bedroom does need a new gripper pad or something. I did slip and fall in the shower. And got pretty bruised up. I'm fine. But def could use a better gripper/sandpaper like pad. I couldn't find anywhere on our paperwork/emails on where to put our trash. I texted the general Vacasa number. They were nice and helpful but still had a hard time finding the trash chute. We ran into someone who worked there that was painting the wall and she told us where to go. It wasn't a big deal but I do think it should've been in included in the emails. Other than those minor things... It was a beautiful stay! The views were nice. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. If we come back to Myrtle Beach, we will consider this spot again.

Great for family

We loved the Condo and the space it offered for a large family. We had issues with sliding door not opening and getting locked on balcony. We reported it and it was acknowledged but never taken care of during our stay. Part of the appeal was each room having its own balcony. Sadly our rooms door did not work.

Overall we had a great stay in this unit at Bahama Sands even though there were some issues upon our arrival. Check in was fine, though parking was limited as they were painting 2 of the 4 parking levels. Our condo was clean with the exception of the floors. Within an hour of us unpacking I noticed my two grandsons had black, dirty feet. When I wiped the floor, the towel was black with dirt. Clearly they had not cleaned the floors properly and every floor in the place was the same. We called housekeeping and while they were fairly responsive, the ladies that came to clean the floors were not adequately equipped to clean them properly. We ended up buying a steam cleaner and cleaned them ourselves. There were a few other minor hiccups but we were able to resolve them although these all took time away from our vacation. The pools were closed on and off and on one day all of them under the building were unusable while they did painting. We received no notice of this so it was disappointing. As mentioned in previous reviews, the furniture in the living room is stained and dated and should be replaced. In the end, we had a discussion with the Vacasa manager and came to an equitable solution. On the positive side, it’s a nice unit with a great layout for families. The beach is great and we did enjoy our stay.

Family getaway

We really enjoyed our days on the beach. Great location as far not being too crowded. At 4pm we checked in and room was not ready, it had not been cleaned. Finally they came in started cleaning but looked at us weird and said the room is not ready yet, but it was after check in time and I told them that, so they cleaned around us. There was a garbage smell off the 2 side balconies. Pools were nasty and oily looking with food floating around, not once during our stay did I ever see anybody maintain the pool area. The gate to the beach opens at 9am. Little after 9am we start making our way through pool area to the beach and someone stopped and yelled at us that we couldn't be there we would have to go around to front of building down an alleyway at the side to enter beach, I was like uh no its after 9 o'clock, he seemed out of it a little. But the room itself was great very spacious, they did a good job, after we checked in, cleaning it. The views were great we really enjoyed the main balcony. Very peaceful sunrise. They do need to enforce the no smoking rule better.

Bahama sands stay
