Awesome place to stay

Friendly staff . Late check in wasn't an issue . The hotels two restaurants were awesome . The many pools , lazy rivers , and hot tubs had more than enough spaces so the people weren't stacked in trying to relax pool side .even offering towels for the pool so no need to stress over bringing yours. Every room has a view of the ocean , without the cost of ocean front rooms and it's in a dead end street so the traffic getting in and out is not bad at all . Rooms were clean and the elevators were quick , not always the case with high rise hotels . Would recommend and would stay there again ourselves .

Perfectly efficient beach condo

The condo is outfitted perfectly for an enjoyable vacation. Bay Watch is a great family oriented spot in North Myrtle Beach. Our kids loved the many indoor and outdoor pools, and beach access was perfect. Had breakfast each day at the buffet, which was super tasty and affordable. The other restaurant on the facility, Fish Tales, blew us away with their unbelievably tasty menu, and awesome adult beverages. Five stars all around!

Dirty resort, room just ok

Resort was dirty all around, band aids in pool, looked like no one had vacuumed the main carpets in years, etc… Room was ok but for private ownership, looks like no one cares about, was nothing more than a hotel room. And hair on the floor and in tub upon arrival, yuk!

First time staying at Bay Watch. All the staff was super nice. There was plenty to eat and plenty to do on-site. Not very impressed with the room. It was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures. The floors were dirty. Had a dust pan in the closet, but no broom. The bathroom door sags and you have to lift up on it to close it completely. The water in the shower would change from luke warm to super hot over and over again while trying to bathe.

Cleanliness and electrical outlets

The cleaning of the room could’ve been better. In bare feet we stuck to the floor which is disgusting. You have about five or six electrical outlet that the plug won’t even stay in their needless to say it doesn’t touch and it doesn’t charge our phone and or iPad. Sliding door to the balcony doesn’t lock.

Not what I was told

The room was on the side with little view of the ocean/beach. I called the hotel to verify that the room I was booking was ocean front and they confirmed. The tower I was in had 3 elevators in which only one worked 3/4 of our stay. When I called front desk for a towel exchange, I called to call a couple more times before we got them. I called for toilet paper and no one ever showed up with it. I offered to pick up the item and they assured me that someone would be bringing it up. The pool one pool had stuff floating in the corner that resembled vomit.

Lovely room but cockroach problem at resort

The room was lovely and very nice, especially compared to other rooms we have stayed at in baywatch. Loved the flooring and decor and was spacious for a studio. The only two things I would say- the room was listed as ocean view which to me would be facing the ocean. It was facing the parking lot and to the side you could see the ocean. Not fully incorrect, I guess, but not what I expected. The other thing is there were cockroaches all over the resort. We have stayed there a couple times a year over the past three years and this is the first time I have noticed so many. One was in my purse! One was in the bed! The room was not overrun with them, but I never noticed them in rooms before this trip. Mainly they were in the indoor and outdoor pool areas.

Short Getaway

Just need some fun in the sun and the location was perfect. Just steps from the beach. Wasn't sure about being on the 2nd floor, but it was perfect. End room gave quick access to the stairs or elevator. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Bathroom door squeaked, but still a good experience.

Room is very nice and clean but hotel carpet in hallways are really gross. Board covering where glass use to be on door to hotel.
