不满意：清洁度
Would not rent from Elliot again.
Our reservation was for Saturday we got in very late and was told to stop by the office to check in the next day. I drive to the rental office to find out they were closed on Sunday. I went back after our beach time on Monday to report my issues and was somewhat chastised for not getting there to report before three pm. Our coffee pot was broken and ran coffee all over the counter, they did replace that. The condo was covered in sand, counter tops and the entire floor. When I swept the walking paths I found pet hair and a ton of sand. My daughters also found broken glass in their bedroom, the fridge handle hand dried sticky food on it. The fridge took over 24 hours to cool down and our ice cream we bought melted.
When I told the office this on Monday the lady basically blew me off and wrote notes on a post it note. I showed her photos to prove what I was saying. No cleaning was offered and she acted like I was wrong for questioning the cleaning fee I was going to be charged. Said she would have to make a note as that was out of her hands. Upon leaving I went in to speak to them again. A different lady. This lady again made notes on a post it note. When I was mentioning the sand she actually said well it is the beach. I said I understand but the floor was so dirty it had not even been swept. She asked if I reported it and I said yes in the Monday and that I didn’t really get much help. The shower was broken and they did come and fix that without any warning. On our way out of town the lady from the first day called and said I understand you had some issues. I went over it again and she said why did you not tell us this to begin with. Did you refuse the additional cleaning. I said I did tell you and no additional cleaning was offered. She said you told us about the coffee pot. I said I told you about all of it and you wrote it on a post it note and I showed you photos. She then remembered and said oh yes well what do you want to happen? I said I dont want charged for additional cleaning when it clearly had not been cleaned. She said we will not charge you any more than the norm.
The parking garage is a total nightmare if you have a big vehicle and often have to back up around corners to let others by.
I have rented many condos through vrbo and never have I paid nearly $300 a night and had to put on my own sheets and have zero toilet paper in the condo when I arrived and clearly to a room that had the bare minimal cleaning.
