More than expected

Our stay at the North Beach Towers was everything we expected, and more. The description of the property certainly contributed to our selection of this property for our vacation. However, we found the property to be even better than described. Outstanding would be the appropriate way to describe the property and our stay.

Beautiful

Condo is beautiful! Pictures make it look bigger than it actually is but still great. It was just me and my husband and I think it would be crowded with 8 people… but if you are out and about during the day you wouldn’t notice.Well worth the money!

Great unit!

My vacation rental

This was my first experience using itrip, they were recommended to me from another rental that I've always rented from. Their process was very user friendly and my reservation process was very easy. After picking up my rental packet and getting to my rental, I was more than happy to see the property rental was even better than the pictures on their website. I'm a disabled veteran my rental was very clean the view to the beach was breathtaking. Each room had its own bathroom which made my stay even better. I would definitely use this rental company again and would highly recommend it to all of my family and friends.

Fantastic North Myrtle Resort style condo

We absolutely loved our experience at Windy Hill! The condo was gorgeous, the view spectacular. The resort style pool was beautiful and a lot of fun. Beach there was great. We loved that you could walk to Barefoot Landing for restaurants, shops, bars. We did have some issues with minor things that were supposed to be in the condo on arrival and were not, so housekeeping was a small issue but nothing to change our opinion about the experience. We would definitely return.

Not clean when we got there. But they refunded our cleaning fee and brought us the cleaning supplies to use to clean it ourselves and got us an xplorie activity for free.

North Myrtle Beach

The condo was great and was in a fantastic location, right across from barefoot landing. We booked through itrip, which offered a better rate. It was an easy process and I feel that they were very detailed as far as communicating. The condo had plenty of amenities, with the exception of extra wash cloths and kitchen towels. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this condo to anyone else that is considering a stay in North myrtle beach!

North tower unit #408

We enjoyed our stay at this 3 BR condo very much. I was hesitant to book, as some of the reviews listed this unit as dirty upon arrival, but it was very clean and well appointed when we arrived. It had everything we needed and the view of the pool/ocean was awesome. Super easy to park in the parking garage on the 4th floor and enter the unit from there. Only slight problem was that ice maker was broken....we reported via text as instructed and no one ever responded. No problem as we just purchased a bag of ice and were good to go. I would stay at this unit again, and recommend for families.

Nice resort; okay property

This was our first time staying at this particular resort. The resort facilities were very nice. Proximity to the beach was perfect The resort staff was very friendly. The property that we stayed in for the week was not as clean as we had expected. When we arrived we ended up vacuuming the carpets; none of the dishes seemed to be clean to the point we ended up washing what we needed. Underneath the beds don’t seem to have been vacuumed for a long time. We dropped a remote that had to be retrieved from under the bed which is how that got noticed The angles of the photos on the website made the rooms look larger than they were. We may stay at the resort again but won’t stay at the property again.

Could be better

Room was not cleaned prior to us receiving a text that the room was ready. That led to us cheking in after 4pm, which the listing says check in is at 4pm. Ice machine in freezer was broken. We were told part were on order. They did bring us 2 bags of ice. Curtains were broken and would not close all the way. Leather couch in living room was torn and needs to be updated. Love the resort, but would not stay at this condo again.

Not my best experience for the price…

Upon making this reservation I did not realize the limitations of checking in or out and had I known them I would have most likely made a different decision. Church-in was between 4 to 4:30 PM, which I barely made due to graduation changes. Upon receiving my package I am told I must return everything in the package, which is fine and completely understandable. However, when I explained I only needed one parking pass instead of 4 I was told I could just throw those away, but you just said I would be charged if I didn’t return them… That’s confusing! When I made the reservation all documentation said the checkout time was at 11 AM. When I checked in the woman was not the kindness customer service agent I have ever dealt with but nevertheless says our package must be returned to the drop box before 10:15 AM for checkout, which puts me leaving the property by 10 AM and that was earlier than I planned. I looked on your iTrip website that said checkout was at 10:30 AM. It was just confusing and I do not like that the checkout time changed upon my arrival after I complied with your short window for check-in requirements. You had your package and I was “checked out” by 9:15 AM. I can say that the air conditioning repair guy, Matthew, was great. We got to the unit and the air did not work at all. We waited over two hours for his arrival but thankfully there was a breeze on the balcony although you cannot hear the doorbell from the balcony so I had to stay in the hot condo awaiting his arrival. It would have been nice to have been told to use the beach access because if you walk through the pool area, even with your green bracelet for pool access, with your beach accessories then you will be stopped, embarrassed, and redirected. Also, it would be nice to tell those staying with you what to do with trash. We cooked a little so we filled a back of trash. I asked a room service attendant what I should do with the bag because I saw her in the hallway. She asked my room number, which I told her, but they never came to grab it. In thinking of that, it would be nice to tell people they need to bring dish soap, dishwasher pods or powder, and clothes washing supplies if they plan to use those amenities. Also, bring your own trash bags. That way they will not be running to the store multiple times like we had to do. I went to use a wine glass only to find it had lipstick on it. Gross! 2 hrs before leaving the ice maker stopped working. We did not use it with access.

Beautiful Ocean & Pool View

We loved our time here! The balcony view is gorgeous as you can enjoy a wide view of the ocean as well as the entire pool. The new furniture, flooring, and decor are beautiful and it was very clean. Customer Service was excellent. The fitness center on the 14th floor was convenient and provided plenty of equipment. Staff was friendly, beach chairs and umbrella rental was convenient, and the pool bar/restaurant was excellent. Italian Ice carts and banana boat rentals were nearby on the beach. The pools and hot tubs were clean and parking was easy. The third floor restaurant was excellent. Plan to get your own ice because this ice maker freezes up. Towels are provided for the pool. We highly recommend!!

The villa and property is absolutely beautiful. The maintenance number you are supposed to text for concerns are absolutely horrible. They don’t reply and aren’t helpful. The hot water was turned off during our stay and they refuse to offer any kind of compensation. Also, upon arrival, there was old trash left from previous guests that was molded and stink. I wish they had better customer service communication.
