modern gorgeous suite

Gorgeous, modern, spacious room with stylish decor and an AMAZING ocean view. The Prince Resort is in a beautiful area. Also, they have several pools—all clean—a restaurant, and super nice staff as well. Have stayed in this unit times now and always want to go back.

Great getaway with friends

We finally decided on a trip with friends after years of talking about it. The condo we stayed in was beautiful and well laid out with space so we didn't feel on top of each other. I can speak of the main bedroom with king sized bed and it was like sleeping on a cloud. Thanks for a beautiful place where great memories were made. We likely be back!

A must see. Great experience

As this is my fifth or 6th time staying in room 1834 I have to say that I would go again and again. You have everything you need. Kitchen appliances are top tier. Updated washer dryer. A lot of room for two couples or or a couple with children. Unbeatable views.

Cherry Grove Prince Resort-August 2023

Stayed for a week at this unit. Provided plenty of space for a family of 4 (2 adult children). Unit was clean, and the Cherry Grove area is a nice area (unfortunately the Pier was still closed). Unit is on 18th floor, overlooking the beach. The beach never felt overly crowded. Based on the proximity to the beach, would have been nice to have beach towels and/or beach chairs provided with the unit. Overall, a positive experience, and would stay here again.

Great place

This was our first time to the area and our first rental with VRBO so we weren't sure what to expect, however, upon arrival we immediately were so happy with our choice. This property is everything we could've asked for as a beach trip! It provided the feel of a vacation/resort with all the comforts of home. It was nice to have the options of the various pools but also being just steps from the beach. It was beachy, casual and comfortable while being VERY clean, modern and cute. The living room was cozy and had amazing views while providing a comfortable area for relaxing, hanging out and playing games. We never felt cramped or like we were 'on top of each other' which can occur in some resort/rental rooms, but this property had plenty of space. Many details were provided to ensure a great stay! We truly loved our time here in this quiet, surfing community!

Great Condo- Awful Rental Company

Location and view was amazing. Beds were hard, especially in the 2nd bedroom. Dryer did not work and a call to the rental company did not rectify the issue. Spent my vacation in a laundromat drying a load of wet clothes and then had to reuse wet smelly sandy towels because they couldn’t be laundered. Also rental company gave wrong information about trash pick up which required me to reach out directly to the resort.

Cool trip

Nice place with beautiful views. Was raining part of the time but it was easy to stay in such a nice place with the ocean & pier views. Great places to eat too. Loved the trip overall!!

Would not book again

Avoid this place. Not truly oceanfront—you have to cross the street, which was exhausting for a family member with health conditions and stressful with kids. This is exactly why we booked “oceanfront” and feel misled. A/C barely moves air, WiFi is useless, TV takes forever to load, and elevators in this building are sooooo slow—expect your patience to be tested every time. Beds feel like concrete. The oven even has duct tape on it—concerning, to say the least. Only good thing? The shower water pressure. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Valentine’s Day Getaway

Me and my Hubby have been staying at the Prince Resort for almost 10 years now and let me tell you this unit is the nicest one we have ever stayed in. The decor was absolutely beautiful and very homey and being on the 18th floor you have the best view of the beach and also you can look down and see the lazy river. I highly recommend booking this unit. We will definitely be back again!!

The view & overall setup we fantastic. Love the spacious kitchen & the appliances. The only thing I would change are upgrading the bed/pillows. The beds are very, very firm. The pillows were honestly awful. If you can, bring your own pillows.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We have stayed at many beach rentals over the years and this is one of the good ones. The furnishings and fixtures were in newer/better condition than you sometimes get in beach rentals and the cleanliness was better than many places. We didn't cook as much as usual, but the kitchen appeared to be well stocked with necessities if we had. We very much prefer ocean front and typically avoid staying across the street frrom the beach...however, this unit felt very similar to being right on the beach since there isn't a building across the street that obstructs the view and the walking access to the beach is right outside the condo building and only a brief walk.

Great location and view.

Very nice room and view. There were a couple of things that went wrong that were out of the control of the owner I feel. But also a few improvements that could be made as part of a general upkeep process. Light flickering in the front entry way, this was minor and the staff at the resort would not fix due to it being a 3rd party rental. That being said vacasa was right on it and fixed it promptly the next morning. The sink leaking was noticed on about day 3. We assumed the kids were just being messy with water. Turns out there was a leak under the sink. This was never fixed. I missed a called from a number that was possibly them but we only had a short time left in our stay so we just stopped using that sink. Some general upkeep ideas. Change batteries in remotes every few months or have extra batteries for guest. This was minor but definetly annoying. We did find a used qtip. Which blended in with the white of the floor and trim of the wall in the main bathroom. The bathroom entry door from the 1st bedroom has a problem with the lock. Once locked it is very difficult to undo. It's the sliding door. It needs some attention. Otherwise you must just keep it unlocked to use. The floors were clean to the naked eye but after walking on the for a few minutes you will quickly notice your feet are extremely dirty l, I assume due to the sand. But this shouldn't have been this way day 1. There was a mop, but no bucket or cleaning soap for the floor. We just ensured that the kids wore socks the whole time or were constantly washing there feet. Bring slippers for everyone is a highly recommended idea. Using the TV initially wasn't very easy but we figured it out. Our roku wouldn't connect due to the distance to the router it said. So using my own device (preferred) to access YouTube tv wasn't an option. Definetly enjoyed having Netflix on the main TV. The balcony was beautiful. However it could have been even better. There were lights strung around the pole intended to light up which had dead batteries. Probably left by another guest. But, this would have been really cool if they still worked. The pier had construction so unfortunately we couldn't walk it. This was very unfortunate. The stay was a very good experience and would recommend overall. Prepare to make a trip to the store for supplies day 1.

Blissful condo

Aside from the stunning view, this condo has everything you need for a vacation that also feels like home. We often forgot we were at a resort because of how home-y it still feels. The natural lighting is beautiful and the decorations are very fitting. I would stay here again!
