「Great location, quiet, and roomy. Breakfast starts a bit late, if you plan on leaving in the morning like I did. And, there was not central heating, just a space heater and in wall heater. Would recommend for those who are crashing for the night and heading to Tahoe for skiing and snowboarding!」

「Great location. If you don’t have any walking limitations the Outside Inn is in walkable distance to the charming Historical Downtown area with cute shops and restaurants. We stayed in the Rock Climbing Suite, which felt like a cozy little cabin and very clean. It also had a rock climbing wall in the room, which I wasn’t expecting. The heater in the room may be a little louder than some people are used to but we had no issues with it. The front desk person was very nice when I spoke to her...

Fun rooms, the most comfortable bed and quality linens, feather pillows etc. A few quirks that are very understandable in a historic building in the middle of town (sometimes loud at night) but they have thought about little things like ear plugs and noise machine. Great for a couple on a mid week getaway」
