「This was a GREAT option for Lassen Volcanic National Park. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The rooms were cozy with a nice mini-fridge and microwave. The restaurant across the street (same company) was excellent with some great sunset views from the large windows. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.」

The vintage part is the Victorian era wooden floors, doors, and trim, screen door to a shared balcony overlooking the main street in Calistoga, plus carrying your bags up the stairs (no elevator), and sharing the bathroom with other guests (no in-room restroom or shower) -- just like you would have if you were traveling 100 years ago when this hotel was new.
