「Could not have asked for a better place to stay! Hosts were incredibly thoughtful (my 10 year old even made friends with their super cool adult son who was home for Easter). Cottage was new, clean, and very well stocked. Hot tub was a nice touch and host took the time to walk my son through setting up the Bluetooth speakers. We even took advantage of their fire pit in the private patio area. Already looking forward to our next stay!」

「I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.」

「The original cabin we were assigned had some power outlet problems in one bedroom, and the hostess immediately moved us to another cabin - with great apologies. The cabins were well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. But there was a funk about it that included dated decor and furniture, with plenty of reminders about Bigfoot. 」
