"We absolutely loved this place. The cabin itself is very cute and the setting is beautiful and relaxing. There are train tracks nearby and our young son absolutely LOVED watching the trains from the front window. After seeing the back area and the river itself I really wish I had brought my fishing gear. We will most definitely be back!"

"Base Camp Cabin #4 is an immaculate, very comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath rental close to Mt. Shasta City. The neighborhood is super quiet, there is a nature walk across the street and it's only about a 5 minute drive to town. The cabin is charming, and well-stocked. We didn't end up cooking there, but the kitchen had pretty much all that you'd need to cook and there is a coffee maker and plenty of coffee (a must for me!). "Plenty of space inside as well as outdoor seating. The large enclosed patio was an added bonus with our small grandchildren. We took our four grown kids and two grandkids and had plenty of comfortable space and plenty of activities to entertain us: a game room with extra fridge (very nice touch) as well as lots of lake activities provided. "We stayed here for my daughter’s birthday and ski trip weekend and loved it. Close enough to the ski park and right on the River, was beautiful! We did hear the train, but it didn’t bother us at all, was actually really cool to see it pass by. Thanks for the great welcome bag also, was very sweet. We will definitely come back!"
