"Beautiful lake location. Loved watching the evening sunset from the deck. Lots of room to spread out. Lovely quiet neighborhood. I don't recommend trying to get down to the water if your senior or carrying a child. Great retreat are so close to boat rentals. Thank you so much!"

"Stayed at the Zen Den while visiting the Shasta/Redding area. Centrally located to a lot of sightseeing activities, grocery and restaurants. The gardens are lovely! Unfortunately due to the mosquitos we were not able to enjoy the fire pit or the tub. The inside is clean and has all needs to a comfortable stay. The shower is a bit small, but made do. "We had a large group of family/friends stay at this place for 4 nights. There were several adjustments we had to make to be comfortable but it was an overall positive stay. Although we knew there was no a/c, it was 105 degrees when we arrived and the home was around 94 degrees inside which was too much to handle, so we had to open all the windows and hang out outside until it was cool enough at night to come in.
