“The ladies at the front desk for for the nicest employees I’ve ever met at a hotel. Hotel was clean, nice and comfortable.”

“Breakfast was pretty good and coffee was excellent! Staff was helpful and was able to accommodate request to switch credit cards to pay for the room.”

“The staff was super friendly and accommodating, especially when we didn't get the room we wanted. Apparently the photos are wrong/misleading on Expedia. The room was great and clean. Only complaint about the room was the shower kept leaking. The breakfast was pretty standard quality for hotel food with a decent spread of options. The pool was nice but so cold. Our toddler refused to swim in it. Overall a 4 or 4.5 rating from us!”

“The television did not work on arrival, and it took the staff person 3 hours to come fix it. The was no microwave in the room, no coffee pot, and there was no breakfast or coffee in the lobby in the morning at 7:30 am when we left. Our key card quit working and I had to make 3 trips to the office and it still never worked again. The staff person was terribly unhelpful! I had to wait outside my room for a 1/2 hour because my husband was in the shower and couldn’t hear me knocking over the fan in……

“My stay was great but they should really add an elevator. I was not aware they didn't have one, which caused some complications with luggage. Travel light if you're staying here.”

“Room had a terrible smell. Bed cover had nasty stains all over it. ”

“The large 3 bedroom apartment worked under our circumstances but there were many problems. Getting access to the building on the day of arrival was tedious and took almost 45 minutes--the access codes did not work, and calling for assistance took many tries. And late in our weeklong stay, we started receiving messages about NOISE complaints which was NOT us! Too many calls and messages about this, very annoying. The apartment was in the basement and the three small windows really didn't help……

“Yes, stores close parking good, staff good. The place years ago was top 3 hotels in area. Now not kept up, run down water buckets in halls, very old dirty feel.”

“The room smelt like incense were burned 24/7. Every towel I received had nasty stains on them. The bathroom shower was dirty, with hairs that did not belong to me. 3 of the 4 pillow cases were stained or dirty as well as the top blanket. The floor definitely had not been mopped or swept. When the cleaning person came, the took the trash and replaced the towels with more dirty/stained towels. Lastly, there was blood splatter in the ceiling in the restroom.”

“It was what was lacking from the listing that was the problem-- there were 20 sketchy steps from the sidewalk to the front door. Those were not mentioned. We're 81 and 78. Stairs in general are things we try to avoid, but these were covered with leaves, ivy encroaching on the lowest set and with ridiculously low hand rails. Since there's no off-street parking, using the scary stairs was mandatory. The house was fine, but getting in and out was not.”
