    This 4-bedroom, pet-friendly home on the private shores of Cathead Bay is filled with original abstract sculptures by a Michigan artist — bold, colorful work that gives the space a personality you won't find anywhere else on the peninsula. Steps from your own private sandy beach on one of northern Michigan's most coveted bays. For guests who want more than a rental — The Art House is an experience.



    The Art House earns its name. Original abstract sculptures in vivid, unexpected color are woven throughout the home — the work of a Michigan artist, collected with intention. The result is a space that's warm and livable but genuinely distinctive: bold without being loud, eclectic without being chaotic. The kind of place that makes you slow down and actually look at your surroundings.

    The open living area flows naturally to the deck and private Cathead Bay beach beyond — easy movement between inside and out as the day unfolds.

I've rented several places along Cathead Bay over the past 15 years and this one is the best ever! Gorgeous new, modern home with amazing views of the lake, a large deck, and a beautiful sandy beach. Bedrooms/beds are lovely with very comfortable beds and all new bedding. Note that the 4th bedroom is an office with a murphy bed but still lovely and has a view directly out over the water. Bathrooms are large and the steam shower was a treat. The home is incredibly well stocked with everything you could imagine needing. Highly recommend!
