“The property is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I stayed here with our three pups and it was perfect. There's a fenced in little area for the dogs with a doggy door inside and a ramp so they could go as they needed to without needing to hook them up to their leashes or carry them to the fenced in area which was a major plus early in the morning while the grass is dewy and at night to avoid the mosquitoes (because there are plenty of those.) The grounds are immaculate. The pond was full of……

“The property was great! Very cute and two min drive from Mohegan. Would recommend!”

“The house is beautifully appointed and had every amenity available beyond our expectations. Very clean, comfortable and secure. Would highly recommend this home for a stay in the Salem CT area.”

“Nicely done, thoughtfully stocked kitchen, nice bedding. The outside needs a bit of work but inside was great!”

“Property is located in a quiet neighborhood and very convenient location to other places. Owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your place on the lake!”

“The house was everything it said it was. Clean rooms. I messaged the host and was promptly answered. Would definitely recommend to others. It was close to the Mohegan sun.”

For instance, the silverware is not in the same room as the kitchen. So preparing and serving a meal would not be as smooth as one might expect. The real issue……

“The location and property itself were great, but we had a few issues during our stay. The hot water heater was not working when we arrived, so we were unable to take showers for the first two days. To the owner's credit, it was eventually repaired. There was also a persistent musty odor throughout the unit. In addition, the listing advertised air conditioning, but the seasonal AC units had not yet been installed, making it difficult to cool the place down and sleep comfortably. As a final first……

“Kitchen needs some serving dishes. Lawn was not mowed so it was hard to enjoy the back yard”

“The house was spotless! We only stayed 1 night but the place is comfortable enough for a week’s stay in Mystic. Very convenient location, quiet street, and plenty of space for a family or small group. The water heater temp needs to be adjusted. The hot water gets extremely hot and I nearly scalded myself washing dishes.”
