“Our stay exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable. The made-to-order breakfast was fresh, delicious, and accommodated our dietary needs (dairy/gluten free and vegetarian). “The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!”

We had a small issue with our room (no fault of the hotel) and the manager quickly offered us an upgrade to a beautiful suite. There is access via a walking path to two separate beaches, and many dining options nearby (Guiones is a short 15 minute walk down the beach for more options). Overall a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the ocean, the sun, and the spectacular……

“Had an amazing time! Beautiful views, delicious inventive food at the on-site restaurant, and outstanding cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The staff are very kind & seem to all make sure to know you by name. As others said the included laundry service is a really nice feature, daily cleaned clothes for yoga and beach means less extra clothing to pack or dirty laundry to travel with. Morning yoga classes were wonderful. Their shuttle drops you at their sister property serving same food……
