“We decided on this hotel because of the excellent rating on Expedia. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. We stayed in one of the family rooms. There appeared to be some water damage and what I assume was black mold in the bathroom. The entire room smelt like mildew. The beds were also quite hard and the pillows lumpy and uncomfortable. It seemed like the rooms in the main building may be better maintained than the unattached part of the hotel where we stayed. The restaurant for……

“Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special.”

“Siamo stati bene, camere silenziose, parcheggio gratuito, macchinetta del caffè in camera, ben collegata con il centro città attraverso il T2 e tanti servizi in zona. Apprezzata la formula del menù al ristorante con buona cucina e prezzi contenuti, non abbiamo avuto necessità di cenare altrove. Unica piccola pecca: ci hanno assegnato la camera disabili e spesso per fare la doccia, il bagno si allagava. Personale molto cortese.”

“Great location if you’re looking to go to the castle. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and worth the extra charge. The noise from the streets was extremely loud until about 2 in the morning but all and all a good place to stay for a quick stop over.”

“The host was lovely, the welcome was friendly and they were super helpful during our stay. The hotel is close to Caen Centre, a short walk to sights and restaurants so very convenient. The rooms are a little small but very clean and comfortable. We would stay again”
