Very large and beautifully appointed rooms, comfy beds and lovely breakfast buffet, which includes plenty of choice or everything. The food at the pool bar was quite average, but passable. Nice beach and beautiful territory. The pavement leading from the main building to the pool bar and the area around it looks a bit tired and there was a strong sewer smell in that area, but it was only there - it was fine in the rooms and elsewhere. Nice location as well. Really enjoyed our stay overall.

We recently stayed at Le Méridien Noumea Resort & Spa, and overall, we did enjoy our time, though there were a few things that are worth mentioning for future guests. At the time of our visit, the hotel didn’t appear to be operating at full capacity, which unfortunately wasn’t communicated to us beforehand. Only one restaurant was open for lunch and dinner, with fairly limited food options. A few other restaurants and the lobby bar were closed, and there was no room service available at all. It also felt like the hotel was understaffed, which likely contributed to these limitations. Breakfast was a bit mixed; weekends were quite good with a decent spread, but on weekdays, it was repetitive and fairly limited. Another thing to note is transport: there aren’t taxis waiting at the hotel, so you need to ask reception to call one for you or use a ride app. We did find communication a little challenging, as many of the staff spoke very limited English. Everyone was polite and tried their best, but it did make some interactions harder than expected. On the positive side, the location really is lovely. The beach is beautiful, and the pool area was clean and well maintained, a great place to relax and unwind. These were definitely highlights of our stay. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the natural beauty of the resort. With clearer communication about reduced services and a bit more availability on-site, the experience could have been even better.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast and lunch/dinner from the hotel restaurant was very good, although very expensive too. The swimming pool was fantastic. The only disappointing thing was thatbour room was very run down and poor condition. There was black mould on the roof in the bathroom, water leaking from the ceiling and around light fittings and a mouldy smell throughout the hotel.

Overall, the hotel is very good. The bedroom is comfy and very well cleaned every day by amazing staffs. The breakfast is delicious with a lot of options, mainly on the weekend. The only observation that needs your attention is the arrival information. The reception didn't provide information about the hotel availabilities like activities, restaurants, and others, and what to do in the city.

There were a lot of issues in the hotel that made our holidays not enjoyable as we were expecting. These are: [ ] Some of the hotel areas look old and a bit smelly; [ ] The name of the hotel was Le Méridien Noumea Resort & Spa which was part of the Marriott Bonvoy group. I'm member of the group so I thought it would have some high quality as the hotels of the group and also I would get some points with it but, for my surprise, one day before I arrived, the hotel name was changed and it is not part of the Marriott Bonvoy anymore. Theres was no communication about it anytime and I felt so disrespectful. [ ] The employees were very polite but not enough people to assist us in the reception or restaurant. [ ] Misinformation as some questions we made were answered differently from the real (example: they said the spa pool was free but when we went there it was paid). I believe to be a language barrier but they should be trained for it as it's an international hotel. [ ] No activities for kids or adults. [ ] The area of the pool were very slippery and danger for kids. My daughter slipped a couple of times and I saw other kids as well. Luckily was nothing serious. Unfortunately I'm very disappointed and they kind of ruined my holidays.

Le Meridien is beautifully situated at the eastern end of Anse Vata beach. The beach access, lovely views and expansive areas to lounge by the beach and pool are fabulous. The staff are lovely and helpful. Please be aware that management has temporarily closed most of the restaurants and bars, so options are currently very imited. We also had to change rooms because our first room had too much black mould and triggered our allergies. Despite these issues, we had a lovely time overall.

The breakfast buffet was very limited and lazy. Even though the hotel was far from full sections offering window views were cordoned off to clump diners together. The hotel is looking rundown. The garden view from my balcony was obstructed by a large platform. Dirty glasses were not removed from my room, and mopping resulted in very wet and slippery bathroom floors. Several times I slipped and nearly fell. One night there was a huge party with the band noise sounding as if it was on my balcony. The manager on duty agreed and at 11.15pm I had to change rooms as the noise was expected to continue until 2an. . I also had to change rooms at 1.15am last night because of noise coming from within the walls. Apparently it was lizards, they sounded like baby birds, cute, but disturbing. Mona the manager is endeavouring for me to be recompensed for one of these nights and kindly offered me a dinner. The reception staff were friendly and courteous.

We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very helpful and friendly, despite the language differences we managed to get everything we needed. The concierge helped with bookings which was wonderful because not all the transport/tourist companies had english speakers. Greatly enjoyed having a cocktail and watching the sunset and kite surfers.

Only one restaurant out of three was open. Breakfast was lacking in choices and the machine cappuccino was terrible. Otherwise, our room was absolutely stunning overlooking the ocean and the beautiful grounds. The pool is fabulous and well-maintained.
