“The resort was very clean and modern. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well located next to a nice beach and a strip of restaurants and eateries.”

“We asked the front desk staff to book a taxi to the ferry and he booked a private car and the price is three time higher than taxi. When I ask why it is so expensive. He replied that they charged by person. I have never booked a car which charged you by person in the world. As a world- known hotel, such a thing could never happen.”

“This is arguably the best location to stay on Pine Island. The Piscine Natural is rated the top spot to visit on the island - yet the colourful coral and fish were better in the water off this resort. This is a 4 star resort, although apart from a little aging, it is hard to fault. Not many resorts have pools - so this was an added bonus. “L'Hotel Tieti is an absolute gem of a place hidden 300kms north of Noumea on the West Coast. Built in the mid 1980's, it is looking a little bit aged in some places but apart from that this hotel is superb. “The staff was amazing, especially Maeke and another lady who were the concierges. They helped schedule excursions and had good suggestions of things to see such as the local market. The restaurant was quite good and even has coconut crab, a local delicacy, on the menu if you order ahead. We hope to return in the future. ”
