Fall colors from one of my favorite spots to visit. There are always lots of birds.... red tailed hawks, brown pelicans, egrets, heron and many others. I stayed Friday- Monday.The breakfast buffet has options for everyone. There is not a microwave in the room and they will only provide one for $20. I personally was not paying $20 to warm up my food. Staff was very nice and informative upon arrival.

Big Rock trail in Lucas Valley/ Loma Alta Open Space preserve. Even in the height of summer, with the grasses dry and brown, the views are amazing!
