We are very glad how everything turned out. This location at Nungwi is good. At Kendwa we would be stuck at our resort. Here we had more flexibility on what to do all the time. “Sehr schöne "Boutique-Hotel" Anlage mit großen Zimmern mit vielen Fenstern ... vom Balkon hatten wir einen schönen Blick in den tropischen Garten und auf den zweiten Pool. Zum Hotel gehört auch in 100m Entfernung ein Restaurant direkt am Strand, wo wir gerne für das Abendbier den Tag ausklingen ließen. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich. Die Lage ist toll, da in einem sehr ruhigen Teil von Nungwi gelegen.”

Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic. “Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing. The property is big, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff were extremely friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and very helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had half board, and the food was excellent with plenty of variety. Dinner was especially enjoyable, as it was served by the pool with beautiful lights creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
