Take the Good with the Bad
Nomi was a very kind condo owner, even giving me her daughter's phone number, just in case! I never found a key code in the VRBO emails for getting in. Thankfully, the daughter offered Nomi's personal key code! Although the unit was "clean", there were a number of disappointments. NO MICROWAVE, no dishwasher - which isn't a problem if the people before wash properly! When trying to use a bowl from the cupboard, I had to pull out 5 before finding one that didn't have stuck-on dried food! I didn't want to touch the glass stove top because it had greasy smears all over it and the kettle also. The only T.V. was in the bedroom, so you have to lay in bed to watch. Every surface except the kitchen table had personal "stuff" on it, so we would have to remove her personal items if we wanted to put anything of ours out (shaving kit, etc.). The closet doors were locked so hanging clothes had to be done in the small hall closet - not convenient. Finally, Nomi had said use whatever you want from the fridge or cupboards, as people leave partially used food! No way!! The fridge was pratically full of partiallly used bottles of food, etc.! Ick!! My feeling is that Nomi is a very nice person who does not have guidance on setting up a rental. I am sorry this doesn't sound good, but from an objective point of view, I wouldn't recommend renting this to others in its current state.
