「We had a fabulous weekend with our beautiful Airedale. The location is amazing, with views over a lake to the mountains. We loved the airy room, with polished floor and lovely bathroom. So quiet, but handy to wineries and the freeway. Our weekend at tonic was a real tonic away from the city!」

「Absolutely beautiful accommodation! It appeared that there were only a few rooms which made it very quiet. The property is was gorgeous, rooms were clean, spacious with everything we needed. It gave a very Tuscan style with beautiful views and kangaroos around. It was about a 2 min drive to Hunter valley gardens and Harrigans pub, making it a great location. I would definitely stay here again! 」

「We had a fabulous stay! The property is stunning, 3 beautiful accommodation options (the guesthouse and 2 individual homes). Wide open spaces to walk around and enjoy nature, pet friendly, easily access to nearby restaurants and wineries. We stayed in the Luxury Villa (an unexpected upgrade from the owner - thank you) and it was wonderful. Spacious home, beautifully appointed kitchen, master bedroom and en-suite, multiple living rooms to choose from and a lovely alfresco area and sparkling...

「Abermain was a fantastic hotel. Great location to be close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale. Room was clean and it’s situated in a hotel that is 115 years old. We were worried about the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. The bar food looked great, even though we didn’t indulge after a day at the wineries. Would definitely come back to the Abermain. 」

「Great staff, huge room, huge bath with double sinks, double shower heads, deep jetted tub. Also two desks, a bistro table with 2 chairs as ell as desk chairs and a view of the river. Would definitely stay there again! Very comfortable king bed to top it off.」
