“This condo is terrific -- even nicer than the photos. There is lots of light and space, everything was comfortable, and the location suited my needs well. The neighborhood is very pleasant with a convenience store a block away and a highly recommended Ethiopian restaurant down the street. I did not really cook, but the kitchen is well equipped. ”

They offered suggestions for local restaurants. We had a severe weather event during our stay, and our host responded immediately to clean up a small amount of flood water on a carpet in the entryway. ”

“We truly enjoyed our stay here! This 2 bedroom hall and kitchen house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped — Christine made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and seamless experience. We were a family of 6 people (3 generations) that stayed for three weeks, during which we cooked, cleaned, watched TV, and explored the Bay Area. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe, which added to our peace of mind throughout the stay. One……

“Owner cancelled the reservation 2 hours before we were to check in. Memorial Day weekend in Oakland, CA. VRBO customer service did not help us rebook, and have promised to refund our payment - haven't seen it yet. ”

“This property is very impressive. It was clean and in order. The bathroom is spacious and beautifully remodeled. The manager was completely accommodating. It is indeed a 5 star property. However, the neighborhood, which looks like it is in the throws of regentrification, is unpleasant in its appearance. Over a short amount of time this will change for the better. In the end don't let the look of the neighborhood discourage your stay here. It's location is a prime place to stay while in Oakland.……

“Unusually spacious and beautifully decorated three bedrooms with two full baths which is hard to find. We enjoyed gathering each evening in the combined living and dining area with extra seating in the kitchen area. The rental was very comfortable for our family group of three to five during our two week stay. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and dishware etc. However, no food items or spices were supplied except coffee and tea so we brought a few things with us and……
