「Parking was good. Didnt mind paying 6 pounds. Meals were very nice. I slept on the couch and it was fairly comfortable. We are canadians so we're used to cups in the bathroom for doing our teeth. And also kleenex. We were also in a premier inn in Sterling and yours is SO much better. Cleaner,decorated nicely. Staff pleasant and helpful.」

「Die Lage direkt am Hafen ist super. Lokale zum Essen gibt es vor dem Hotel. Es gab nur 1 Handtuch für 2 Personen. Im Badezimmer gab es einen unangenehmen Geruch. Der Seifenspender ist kaputt, er rinnt. Zum Einchecken braucht man ein Smartphone mit Internet, was bei den Nachbarn leider nicht funktionierte. Es gibt kein Personal vor Ort !!!!!!!」

「Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. We came back for the views and location, the food and the peace and most of all the warmth and kindness and local knowledge of our host A big thankyou once again」

「The Castle and rooms are beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Richard and Jes are wonderfully gracious hosts and the breakfasts are excellent!! We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and it was the perfect romantic atmosphere and setting for our celebration.」

「Was ok. Peaceful location but huge gravel car park directly in front of ground floor rooms was noisy in morning and evening. Stale smell inside the hotel in general. Staff were overly “formal / professional” - felt almost awkward at times and didnt feel friendly. Hot breakfast for £25 not good value, continental breakfast at £17 also not good value (yoghurt, granola, canned fruit and watermelon). Good bedding, comfortable beds, but at this price I would not return.」

「Lovely location convenient to the ferry terminal and town centre. The host Caroline was very friendly and welcoming. Little extras left in the fridge were an added bonus and much appreciated.」
