Family Vacation

This was our first entire family vacation. The Plaza had plenty of room, beautiful view, close to grocery store and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Would Return

The Plaza has enjoyable amenities. The room was spacious and comfortable. In other reviews I’ve read, there is mention of a defective toaster. It’s still there. Also, we discovered a lot of snack crumbs under the couch cushions. Minor things really. We would definitely return.

Wonderful stay! Toaster donation

We had a wonderful stay. Views and proximity to the beach is perfect. This was our first stay to OC.The plaza building and condo were wonderful. The pools were never over crowded. We read several reviews about the bad toaster for this unit… for all those who follow us there is a brand new Walmart toaster for future use. We are a toast family and the 12 investment was worth it for us!

1607 needs updated and cleaned well. It's like a step back into the 90's and probably hasn't been cleaned well since then either. It served it's purpose but we did encounter issues with the cleanliness which was disappointing and gross.

Nice and convenient; needs some maintenance

The space is big, plenty of room to feel on vacation. The unit is also extremely comfortable. The view of the ocean and the amenities are very good. The unit however does need some repairs. There is a broken door on the laundry room and a broken door in the bed room, for example.

Condo needs some love

Mattress in the primary needs to be replaced. Bathroom in the primary needs mildew/mold remediation. Broken blinds in living room. Patio furniture needs to be replaced. Chairs buckle when sat in. Dishwasher practically falls out of cabinet when opened. Sparse silverware. Living room furniture is old. Nice dining room table.

Depends on what you find important

We stayed here last year and my wife wrote a full review then (Melissa M) and pretty much most of the stuff has remained the same, with the exception of the broken blinds that face the walkway outside. A coffee pot and toaster really aren’t much to buy when you’re charging over 3K for a week during peak season I’m out opinion. But none of those things were deal breakers for us considering it was oceanfront and had the option for indoor and outdoor pools. That being said if you’re someone on a budget and loved the nostalgic feeling of a beach condo they has wicker furniture and feels like the 90’s this is quite literally perfect and we love it. If the owner ever wants to sell let us know 😂😂

Last minute reservation

Condo Needs updates! Property listed said we would be provided certain and not certain amenities, however that was not the case. property was not the cleanest! Property however was Beach front property. It was not to bad considering a last minute reservation.we also have some confusion as far as the door lock and while browsing in the room while waiting on maintenance man to come, I just happed to see the key hanging off a letter box.wd still had issues with lock along with maintenance helping us too.In the end we got it all figured out.

Decent but not maintained

The location is great and the facility is clean. Jungle Bar is a great time along with the indoor pool and outdoor pool. The condo itself was not kept up very well: sliding door was a pain to open and close. Freezer had rust in it. Tv did not work and none of the remotes had batteries on arrival. Cheap toilet seat could’ve been replaced and had chips in it. No window covering for bedroom to balcony access. Reached out to Vacasa agent I rented from and never received a response.

Time for an update

For the money, not the best. Location was great, convenient to the beach but the unit is in need of some updating. Coffee maker and toaster didn't work, well, toaster elements toasted on one side. There wasn't enough glassware or silverware for our family of 5. 20+ plates, but 2 glasses and 4 forks. Furniture was dated, which isn't an issue, we all love seafoam green and mauve . But dining room chairs were broken through, couches cracked, TVs were the cheapest available at WalMart and multiple remote were there with missing backs to hold the batteries in. Bathroom shower doors didn't move freely (20-30 year old) and ceiling tiles sagged from the humidity in the shower. Upon arrival, contacted Vacasa regarding there not being a trash can for the kitchen. Response was "Look around" and then radio silence. Not overly impressed with the experience. Thank goodness a bad day at the beach is better than a great day in the office.

Good property

Balcony and master bedroom had a beautiful view of the sunrise every morning. Windows and doors were pretty sound proof, our kids didn't wake up to others getting on and off the elevator and we couldn't really hear the jungle bar music by the pool with the sliding door closed. Medium to large size fridge/freezer held two medium coolers of food and a small store run. Toaster was broken when we got there so it only toasts one side. You're relying on the people who stayed there before you to wash dishes correctly, in our unlucky case the previous guests left food residue on a lot of the dishes so bring Dawn and dishwasher fluid to do dishes before you make anything or prepare to eat out the first night before that chore is completed. There was dirty towels on the floor in a pile before we got there which was gross and the dryer probably needs serviced because you have to run it extra times for even a medium load. We found a vape under the bed that was left behind luckily before the kids found it. Bathroom was a little worse from wear over time. Overall, it was an excellent location and host. I think vacasa property management needs a better cleaning crew, but I dont think thats a reflection of the property owner so we left it better than we found it for the next guest. Beautiful apartment and view, quiet walls/windows, extremely easy access to the beach with lifeguards everywhere, the basics were there to make food, the beds looked clean -my husband inspected them and did NOT find any evidence of bed bugs. Four double beds and a selection of two different couches you could sleep on.
