Check-In was relatively smooth and the staff at the check-in office were great. However, the condition of the house was not the best.
Upon inspecting the house after check-in, we noticed that the walls were nicked up significantly throughout, numerous bathrooms had missing or broken towel and toilet paper bars, maggots were found in the kitchen sink, mold on the ceiling of the 4th floor, some of the remotes had dead batteries. In addition, the floors were not completely clean. I notified Vacasa customer service and was promised that someone would reach out to me to inspect my complaints. No one contacted me and no one came to correct the issues. We also had a fire alarm that would sound off sporadically throughout the night. The first time it happened, it caused unnecessary panic and us running throughout the house to check for a fire. The other times it sounded, it just disturbed our sleep.
Check Out instructions were conflicting, the app/site provided one set of instructions while another set located on the refrigerator stated something different. When I contacted Vacasa via the app., their response did not answer my question. I had to e-mail them again for clarification.
Overall, the house served it's purpose for 7 adults on a golf trip to sleep and shower. The location is great as it is conveniently located near many restaurants and minutes to the beach. It is also located in a gated community. The grounds of the community were very clean.
